Wild Killer Whale

Adoption

Killer Whale Adoptions

Adopt a wild killer whale and directly support research and conservation of the resident (fish-eating) and Bigg's (mammal-eating) killer whales that roam British Columbia's Coast

You can symbolically adopt one of the individual killer whales or a group known as a pod.  Each whale has been identified with its scientific number, adoption, sex and year of birth. Each adoption kit comes with an adoption certificate, a whale biography for the whale of your choice, an adoption kit, killer whales fact booklet, plush toy, and a tax receipt for the purchaser.

Killer whale adoptions continue to enable Ocean Wise researchers to learn more about the social system of killer whales, monitor their health and body condition and identify conservation measures necessary to protect them.

NOTE: Shipping and processing of adoptions is paused as our office remains closed as a preventative measure to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Thank you for your support and please email donations@ocean.org if you have any questions.
