The Off-Air Series is a production of Chicago Public Media (WBEZ-Chicago) which aims to extend your WBEZ listening experience to nights on the town – come see what you’ve been hearing!
Our mission is to serve the public interest by creating and delivering diverse, compelling content that informs, inspires, enriches and entertains. Through our radio broadcasts, online programming, and events like these we want to connect diverse audiences throughout the region to each other and to the world.
Founded in 2008, Off-Air is now in its fifth season – presenting four experiences, one each quarter. Over 30,000 people have attended since the Series’ inception and with this year’s line up of events we couldn’t be more excited for what’s in store. So come join us! Taking place throughout the city and spanning diverse topics, each event promises to be different and something not to miss – with discounted tickets for WBEZ members.
NOTE: There are no paper tickets issued; if you received a confirmation upon purchase, your name will be at our Will Call Check-in.
Also - you are not required to register for FREE events (January's daytime Winter Block Party, or for April's Global Activism Expo) but we'd love it if you could register for your FREE tickets. We might even give door prizes to those who do!
