Thank you for your interest in the Dog Training Combo Class. This package covers both our Dog Manners Class (an introductory training class) and our Beyond Manners Class (an intermediate training class) at a discounted rate. 

This is the start date of two six-week classes. Dog Manners Class meets for six consecutive weeks beginning Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 7:45 p.m. followed by six consecutive weeks of Beyond Manners Class beginning Thursday, May 31st at 7:45 p.m.   

All of our classes use reward based training techniques where we will teach you how to use a clicker for training. Your dog will be taught in a positive learning environment where he or she will have fun! Upon completion of this class, your dog will have learned many cues such as sit, down, stay, off, leave it, wait at the door, come, walking on a loose leash and other important skills.

Social dogs only, please!!  Dogs that have shown any prior aggression to other dogs or people are NOT allowed in the group class setting under any circumstances (including if you already paid for the class). Aggression can not be addressed in this venue; you will not get the attention you deserve and it puts others at risk. Please call us for private training to get the best behavior treatment for your companion.

This class is for dogs 5 months and older.

Payment is required for each dog at the time of registration. Tickets are per dog not per person.

VACCINATIONS: All dogs need to be current on their Rabies (if over 4 months of age), Distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines before the first class. Be sure to bring your vaccination records with you to the first class! Please check your records because even if you adopted from us, you may not have all the vaccinations needed for class. Dogs will not be able to participate in class without proper vaccination records. 

Guardians/Handlers must be at least 18 years old and children under 8 are not allowed to attend. We limit classes to 10 dogs and provide a trainer and assistant for all classes with a ratio of 1 person to 5 dogs.

If you decide not to attend the class date in which you are registered your payment will be used for the animals in our non-profit facility. If you are uncertain whether our classes will meet your expectations, you are welcome to sit in on a class (without your dog) before you pay. Just give us a call!

If you miss the first class you will not be able to continue.  The foundation for the training sessions is layed in class 1 and therefore must be attended in order to continue class.
