Thank you for your interest in Virtual Puppy Classes with the Wisconsin Humane Society. 

This virtual class will be hosted through the Wisconsin Humane Society Group Class Facebook page.  This is a private Facebook group that is only accessible to class members and our WHS training team.  You will need a Facebook account to utilize this class.  If you are unable to access a Facebook account, please email Samantha Steinbring at sstein@wihumane.org 

This date is the start date of a six-week class. Virtual Puppy Classes meet for 45 minutes every week.   We strongly encourage you to participate live whenever possible, but if you miss a session, don't worry, you can access the recorded option.   

Our experienced instructors make training your dog a fun and rewarding experience for people AND dogs!  While the virtual format will not allow us to offer in-person dog-dog interactions, the class will still be geared towards young puppies. Topics that we will cover will include physical handling for veterinary and grooming procedures, sound conditioning, confidence with novel objects, socialization strategies in our current world and the first steps towards basic manners. This introductory class will be the foundation for more advanced skills that will continue to be built in Manners and Advanced Manners. This class is appropriate for puppies under 4 months. 

Included in class:

• access to the private WHS Facebook group page 
• attend classes live during the weekly FB live event
• watch the recorded weekly class session
• access to ask questions about general concepts both during live class and via email
• *personalized feedback
• *submit up to 5 minutes of video weekly for feedback and support
