SEASONAL Volunteer Information Session - MKE WHS Milwaukee Campus
Join us for an informational session to learn more about our seasonal volunteer program! This is a requirement prior to applying for any of the volunteer positions at the Wisconsin Humane Society Milwaukee Campus. You must RSVP to attend.
You'll hear about our organization, how volunteers help with our programs and services, and our current seasonal needs.
Seasonal Needs:
Adoption Teammate - Ages: 18 and up. Shifts available: Afternoons and evenings on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Animal Care Volunteer - Ages: 18 and up. Shifts available: Weekdays, 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Veterinary Services - Ages: 18 and up. Shifts available: Every day from 8:30 a.m. until treatments are complete. Dogs only.
Wildlife Animal Care - Ages: 18 and up. Shifts available: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. shifts most days of the week. Limited weekend availability.
If you want to become a seaonal volunteer, you must attend one of the training sessions listed below depending on the position you are in. You will learn how to sign up for the training sessions at the information session.
Monday, May 8, 2017 - Cat Handling Training 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 16, 2017 - Dog Handling Training 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 9, 2017 - Wildlife Training Classes - 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
