SEASONAL Volunteer Information Session OZAUKEE WHS Ozaukee Campus
Join us for an informational session to learn more about our seasonal volunteer program.
This is a requirement prior to applying for any of the volunteer positions at the Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus.
You'll hear about our organization, how volunteers help with our programs and services, and our current seasonal needs.
Seasonal Needs:
Animal Care Volunteer: Dogs - Ages: 18 and up, or 13-17 with an adult present. Shifts available: 8-10am on Fridays and Saturdaus, along with most daytime shifts as a secondary priority.
Animal Care Volunteer: Cats - Ages: 18 and up, or 13-17 with an adult present. Shifts available: 8-10 am on Saturdays, 9-11am on Sundays.
Dog Walking: Ages: 18 and up, or 13-17 with an adult present. Shifts available: Daytime, midday, and weekends.
If you want to become a seasonal volunteer, you must attend one of these future training sessions. You will learn how to sign up for the training sessions at the information session.
Saturday, May 20, 2017 - Cat Handling Training 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 20, 2017 - Dog Handling Training 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
If you are interested in volunteering at our Milwaukee Campus please attend a MKE volunteer info session. Available positions and training differ between each campus. Thank you!
