Girl Scouts Night 6:15-7:00pm
|
Girl Scouts, are you looking for a fun way to learn about the Wisconsin Humane Society, animals, and maybe even earn a badge along the way? We've got you covered! Girl Scouts K5 through grade 12 are invited to spend an evening at the Wisconsin Humane Society Racine Campus. We are offering a fun, new hybrid event that will provide troops with content to view ahead of the program, along with an in-person, interactive program that engages Girl Scouts in the Wisconsin Humane Society’s mission. Attendees will interact with an animal, make a fun craft to help the animals at WHS, and learn about pets and how to stay safe around them. Girl Scouts will be able to make progress toward a badge through the program, and troops will be provided with the badge requirement for their level so that Girl Scouts can complete their badge on their own time. The health and safety of the young people who attend our programs is our top priority, and we have made some important changes to ensure safety, including: · Limiting enrollment to maintain CDC physical distancing guidelines · Asking participants and staff to abide by a health policy and stay home if ill · Cleaning and handwashing before, during, and after the program · Requiring all participants and staff to wear masks when inside The fee to attend is $15 per child and $5 per adult chaperone. Exclusive Wisconsin Humane Society patches are available to purchase for $2 each at the time of registration. Due to physical distancing, we can only accommodate a total of three adult chaperones per Girl Scouts program. We can accommodate a total of up to 16 Girl Scouts per time slot. Register early as dates fill quickly. Cancellation and refunds Registration fees are non-refundable, except in the case of situations related to our health policy above. If your child doesn’t meet our health guidelines and needs to miss the program, we will provide an opportunity for them to attend the program on an alternate date. For all other situations: if your child is unable to attend, you may offer your registration to another child who meets the age requirements. Please notify the youth programs team immediately. We will not issue refunds if your child does not attend in situations not related to our health policy. The Wisconsin Humane Society reserves the right to cancel programs. In the unlikely event that we cancel a program, we will attempt to reschedule the session. If we are unable to do so, or we are unable to accommodate your child in another program, you will receive a full refund of the registration fee.
