This is the start date of a 5-day camp. Jr. Vet Camp runs from Monday, July 29 - Friday, August 2 at the WHS Racine Campus. 

Jr. Vet Camp is for kids who have completed grade 6 through grade 9. Camp days are full of fun and animal-related activities like crafts, career exploration, a tour of the shelter, and opportunities to meet furry friends!

Jr. Vet Camp is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day and $275 per camper.

T-Shirts: Camp T-shirts are highly encouraged, but not mandatory for children to attend camps. If you decide to purchase a T-shirt, please indicate the size when registering. The deadline to purchase T-shirts for summer camp is June 1. All T-shirt sales are final.

We will ask at check in if your child is experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19. If your child is experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19, do not send your child and notify youth programs staff immediately. If your child feels unwell during the program, we will contact you to pick them up.

Cancellation & refunds:
We will provide a full refund for cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the start of the camp session.

We will not provide refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of the start of the camp session. You may offer your registration to another child who meets the camp’s age requirements. Please notify the youth programs team if you’d like to use this option.

The Wisconsin Humane Society reserves the right to cancel camp. In the unlikely event that we cancel a camp, we will attempt to reschedule the session. If we are unable to do so, or we are unable to accommodate your child in another camp, you will receive a full refund of the registration fee.
