Thank you for your interest in our Puppy Enrichment Drop Off at the Wisconsin Humane Society!
This program provides 1 hour of fun and learning for puppies 8-16 weeks of age.
This is a drop off program - registrants will drop off their puppies at 4 p.m. and pick them up at 5 p.m. Owners will NOT enter the building for this event.
Puppies enrolled in the program will:
Have the opportunity to develop their social skills with other puppies in a safe environment, with constant supervision and support from our training specialist
Practice basic skills such as name recognition, coming when called, sit, and gently taking treats
Explore novel objects to build confidence and body awareness
Take potty breaks
Rest in a relaxing atmosphere
Have 1x1 personalized training sessions with the Wisconsin Humane Society's Behavior and Training Specialist, Samantha Steinbring, CPDT-KA
During the personalized training sessions, puppies will work individually with our training specialist to build the foundation for relaxation in crates, comfort with handling for grooming and veterinary care, recall, loose-leash walking, and more. If you are also participating in a weekly Puppy Class or private training, those skills will be supported during your puppy's 1x1 training session.
