Spend some of your spring break at the Wisconsin Humane Society Racine Campus! Barks and Blooms Spring Break Camp is a one-day camp for kids in grades 1-6. It's a wonderful way for kids to learn all about the Wisconsin Humane Society and ways they can help critters of all different shapes and sizes. Campers learn about animal safety, training, care and more! There will be a variety of humane activities throughout the day including crafts, games, an Adoption Avenue tour and many chances to meet furry, four-legged friends!

Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is $55 per camper.

T-shirts (optional, may be purchased through 3/1): If you purchase a T-shirt, please indicate the size when registering. The deadline to purchase T-shirts is March 1.

Health Policy

The health and safety of the young people who attend our programs is our top priority, and we are following CDC guidelines regarding COVID. For more information about our current precautions, visit https://www.wihumane.org/for-kids/kids-programs.

We will ask at check in if your child is experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19. If your child is experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19, do not send your child and notify youth programs staff immediately. If your child feels unwell during the program, we will contact you to pick them up.

Cancellations and refunds:

Registration fees are non-refundable. If your child doesn’t meet our health guidelines and needs to miss the program, we will try to provide an opportunity for them to attend the program on an alternate date. Please notify the youth programs team immediately. For all other situations, if your child is unable to attend, you may offer your registration to another child who meets the age requirements.

The Wisconsin Humane Society reserves the right to cancel programs. In the unlikely event that we cancel a program, we will attempt to reschedule the session. If we are unable to do so, or we are unable to accommodate your child in another program, you will receive a full refund of the registration fee.

Food: Please send a bag lunch and two snacks with your child to enjoy during the program. We will provide designated spaces for each child to store their food. Refrigeration is not available, and participants will not have access to vending machines during the program. Please be aware that WHS is not a nut-free facility. Our staff does their best to accommodate allergies. Please indicate all allergies in the medication form that is provided as part of the consent and release form.
