This is a live recording of the special concert event featuring Andrea Bocelli and guests on Central Park's Great Lawn from September 15, 2011, with the New York Philharmonic, conducted by its Music Director Alan Gilbert. Bocelli was joined by Céline Dion, Tony Bennett, Chris Botti and David Foster. Sopranos Ana María Martínez and Pretty Yende, violinist Nicola Benedetti, bass baritone Bryn Terfel and flutist Andrea Griminelli were also part of this spectacular evening, along with the Westminster Symphonic Choir, Joe Miller, director.

The recording features 17 of the 25 performances at the concert.  (Note: Flutist Andrea Griminelli is not featured in the broadcast program but performed in the concert.)
