CD: The Three Tenors: Carreras, Domingo, Pavarotti in Concert 1990
The Three Tenors in Concert holds the distinction in the Guinness Book of World Records (in 2010) of being the best-selling classical album of all time. The concert took place July 7, 1990, just before the opening of the Soccer World Cup Final. This concert and album, which initiated the Three Tenors phenomenon, had the original purpose of raising funds for the José Carreras International Leukemia Foundation and boosting the career of Carreras, who had only recently recovered from the disease. Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo, and Carreras take turns singing opera arias, Broadway hits, and traditional Neapolitan songs, but on several tracks, the three tenors sing together. Zubin Mehta accompanies the singers, leading the orchestras of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.

DVD: The Fear Cure with Lissa Rankin MD
In the 60 minute THE FEAR CURE with Lissa Rankin,MD, Dr. Rankin addresses how being afraid can make us sick--but the truth is that fear, left untreated, becomes a serious risk factor for conditions from heart disease to diabetes to cancer. Now Lissa Rankin, M.D., explains why we need to heal ourselves from the fear that puts our health at risk and robs our lives of joy--and shows us how fear can ultimately cure us by opening our eyes to all that needs healing in our lives. Drawing on peer-reviewed studies and powerful true stories, The Fear Cure presents a breakthrough understanding of fear's effects and charts a path back to wellness and wholeness on every level. We learn: How a fearful thought translates into physiological changes that predispose us to illness How to tell true fear (the kind that arises from a genuine threat) from false fear (which triggers stress responses that undermine health) How to tune in to the voice of courage inside--our "Inner Pilot Light" How to reshape our relationship to uncertainty so that it's no longer something to dread, but a doorway to new possibilities What our fears can teach us about who we really are THE FEAR CURE with Lissa Rankin, M.D. is a follow up to her successful previous pledge program, Mind Over Medicine.

A Yiddish World Remembered DVD
In A Yiddish World Remembered, the Emmy winning PBS documentary by Andrew Goldberg, the story of Jewish life in Eastern Europe is brought to life again by some of the remaining eyewitnesses. Narrated by Academy Award nominated actor Elliott Gould and accompanied by never-before-seen archival films, vintage photographs, and traditional Klezmer and cantorial music, the documentary takes an enlightening look at this unique and all-but-vanished way of life. For those in rural communities, there was often no running water or electricity. For many, anti-Semitism was a part of daily life. But for everyone, crowded conditions and poverty seemed to prevail. Despite these trials, through the eyes of the individuals interviewed, we learn that Jewish communities were close-knit and often even joyous places to live. This television special explores everything from the fascinating language of Yiddish to the Rabbis and Rebbes that often ran the communities to the powerful Jewish movements of Khasidism, Bundism and Zionism. This DVD contains over 20 minutes of bonus footage and interviews not seen in the broadcast.

Half a million people flocked to hear the maestro in Central Park and millions worldwide watched on television.
