We have seen what happens when we harness the power of
women. For over 100 years, we have been harnessing the power of women who do—women who take action for their communities. We know very well the impact of a
collective force of women, and we know the same is true for all people who
organize for their beliefs.
Hadassah stands firmly committed to our values and now we
are presented with an opportunity to rise to the occasion. Preserving and
protecting women’s health, well-being, access to opportunity and safety are not
negotiable. We will not waver in the fight to empower ALL women regardless of
gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or
party affiliation. We will stand for tolerance and against discrimination in

I'm your constituent, and I am asking you to uphold our community's values
Dear [Decision Maker],
I write to you as one of the 330,000 members, associates and supporters of Hadassah, The Women's Zionist Organization of America. For over 100 years we have been harnessing the power of women who do--women who take action for their communities.During this uncertain time, we need to come together with a message of unity and take stock of the work ahead of us. We have grave concerns about the appointment of Stephen Bannon as White House chief strategist and senior counsel. As my representative in Congress, you work to uphold the values that represent our community. I believe discrimination has no place in this country, and I am asking you to speak on my behalf. Let your constituents and your colleagues know that you will not stand for any legislation or rhetoric that villainizes and singles out any people based on their gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or party affiliation. It's time for reassurance and reaffirmation of these important American values of tolerance and acceptance. As a Hadassah member, I am especially focused on our need to preserve and protect women's health, well-being, access to opportunity and safety. We, women of Hadassah, take our duty as advocates very seriously, and I know we can all work together for a nation that serves all of its people. We will be paying close attention to make sure all of our elected officials exemplify these ideals.
Sincerely,[Your Name] [Your Address] [City, State ZIP][Your Email]
