Join Hadassah's National Attorneys Council in, Washington DC, and be sworn in before the United States Supreme Court.
Qualifications: The Supreme Court Swearing In is open to licensed attorneys who are Life Members or Associates of Hadassah. New Life Members and Associates are welcome!
If you are NOT a Hadassah Life Member or Associate, you will need to become one to continue ›
You do not need to be working full-time or engaged in the traditional practice of law to qualify; however, you must have been admitted to practice in the highest court of your state of admission for a period of at least three years, and have evidence of current good standing.
The Supreme Court limits our number of new admittees to 12 per day (plus 1 guest per new admittee). In order to secure your place, please register as soon as possible. The registration fee of $425 includes three meals, local transportation, speakers, and guides in Washington, DC. Fee does not include $200 payment to the Supreme Court, travel to DC or local lodging. Please note that all cancellations are subject to a service fee of $100 before October 26, 2018 and $200 before November 16, 2018. No refunds will be issued after November 16, 2018. The cancellation/refund policy also applies to all guests.
A limited number of past participants in Hadassah's United States Supreme Court Swearing In Program are also welcome to attend the 2019 program as an "alum," and the same $425.00 registration fee apples (and the same exclusions apply as well). Please note, however, that admission to the courtroom to hear oral arguments at the High Court will only be permitted through the "Admitted Attorneys" line, and will not be with the rest of the group. As an "alum" of our program, you will be with the group throughout the balance of the event. Our accommodations at the dinner venue and at the High Court allow for a maximum of five (5) past participants, so early registration for these slots is also encouraged. Only members of the United States Supreme Court Bar who were sworn in with Hadassah may avail themselves of this opportunity.
