Hadassah Magazine Discussion: Michael Twitty and His 'KosherSoul' with Adeena Sussman
Join us on Thursday, November 3 at 6 PM ET as Hadassah Magazine’s beloved food writer and best-selling cookbook author Adeena Sussman interviews Michael Twitty, author of the sensational new best seller KosherSoul: The Faith and Food Journey of an African American Jew, a follow-up to his James Beard Award-winning The Cooking Gene. As the two chefs discuss Twitty’s latest work, which he offers up as "chicken soup for the soul of Jews of African descent, the American and global Jewish peoplehood, and the folks in between…," he will prepare a recipe from KosherSoul and answer questions. This pre-Thanksgiving/pre-Hanukkah event is free and open to all.
