Join us for our book club! Below are the dates, books, and facilitators October 18, 2023 - The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid: A Memoir by Bill Bryson, published in 2007. Marilyn will facilitate. Per Marilyn, it’s a vivid, nostalgic, and utterly hilarious memoir of growing up in the 1950s. November 15, 2023 - Lady Tan’s Circle of Women by Lisa See. Sharon will facilitate with Lisa See. Book release June 6, 2023. According to Amazon, the latest historical novel from New York Times bestselling author Lisa See, is inspired by the true story of a woman physician from 15th-century China. Bana Tea Company has created a special tea sampler for book clubs to use with Lady Tan’s Circle of Women, with the teas that Lady Tan drinks in the novel. December 20, 2023 - The Einstein Effect: How the World’s Favorite Genius Got into Our Cars, Our Bathrooms, and Our Minds by Benyamin Cohen. Monique will facilitate (if she wants to). There is a book club handout I will attach closer to the meeting. |
