The New Kolar Family YMCA (formerly Downey Family YMCA)

Downey is getting a new Y! We are eager to reopen for the Downey community and have embarked on a $6 million capital campaign to raise the necessary funding to bring a new $20 million YMCA to the community. With lead gifts already committed, support of this request will ensure timely completion of this project. The new Kolar Family Y (formerly the Downey Family Y) will be constructed to be truly representative of the community, addressing the needs, comfort and safety of patrons while providing an enhanced experience in a more efficient manner than the existing facility
