With the end of school upon us, it's time to help the Y provide quintessential moments of summer for all kids, by sponsoring youth at the YMCA's Sleep Away and Day Camps and teens with "Get Summer" Free Memberships.
Summer Camp is back! In 2022, hundreds of kids will once again escape the day-to-day bustle and lights of the city to explore nature and challenge themselves. For many of our campers, Y camps are the only time they get fully out of urban life and deeply into nature.
At Camp Whittle, teens escape into days of swimming, canoeing, and archery while reaching new heights on the climbing wall. For younger campers, a world of discovery awaits them at Camp Marcil, where they develop confidence while zip lining across the meadow and gazing at stars. Every night, campfires bring kids together, kindling life-long friendships!
Closer to home, young Day Campers can choose a summer's worth of activities including sports, making music, inventor's workshops, time for unstructured play, and more. There's no wi-fi, just great connections!
Teens can also sign-up for a Get Summer Y membership, giving them FREE summer access to a safe and nurturing environment filled with activities! Memberships include full access to the Y, teens programs, and special events.
