WIL - 2024 Dia De Los Muertos 5K Run/Walk

WILMINGTON WATERFRONT PARK

The Wilmington YMCA is pleased to present the 5th Annual Dia De Los Muertos 5K Run/Walk and Youth 1K Run presented by Valero. This 3.1 mile course loops through the 30 acre Wilmington Waterfront Park. The course is flat and fast, mostly paved over trails and bridges ideal for beginners or if you are looking to set your personal best.

All runners receive:

1 Race T-shirt
1 Finisher's Medal
Snacks

RACE DETAILS

Everyone must register to participate.
Online Registration is open through Wednesday, October 30th, 2024. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register online by October 18, 2024 .
Same-day registration will be available at the race site on November 2, 2024 from 7AM-8AM. Please note that participants registering at the event may not receive a T-shirt.
Packet Pick-up will be at the Wilmington YMCA, on Friday, November 1st from 3PM-5PM. The event will be held at Wilmington Waterfront Park located at 1004 W C Street.
Opening Ceremonies will begin at 8:30 AM. Please allow plenty of time to park, stretch, and warm-up. This year we will also have live entertainment, inflatables, food vendors, and an altar contest, a children’s face painting contest, and Altar displays and contests for you to enjoy!
The Family/ Youth 1K start time is 9:15 AM and the 5K start time is 9:45 AM.
