Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a rare, relentless, progressive neuromuscular disease that slowly takes away the body's ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. It has already taken my ability to speak normally.
ALS is 100% fatal with an average life expectancy of 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
But there is hope. With the help of the ALS Association, we are moving towards a future where ALS is a livable disease. It will take a community of Superheroes to beat this thing. So, I am humbly asking you to join me in this fight by participating or donating to the Dash.
