James L. Lloyd, Jr. ▪09.24.58 - 06.08.23▪
"Like a thief in the night, ALS barreled in and stole Jim away from us, leaving only shock and sadness in it’s wake. Daily tears have been shed and will continue to be as we mourn the inexplicable loss J.L.
He was robbed of the next could-have-been 30 years of his life. We were robbed of holidays, birthdays, shared laughs, joy, and above all, time with him. This wicked disease mercilessly attacked his once-strong, capable body, and cruelly took him away, bit by bit.
How lucky are we to have had a man like Jim? It would take much more than a few short paragraphs to encapsulate him and explain why we all love him so. He found his life’s joy in serving others and would always be there for you - no matter what.
Jim touched a multitude of lives in his too-short time on this earth. To say he will be missed is a grave understatement. His absence leaves a void I know can never be filled.
May he rest peacefully. May we make him proud and honor him each day in our words and actions. He will forever be in our broken, but grateful hearts. Hook ‘em, and farewell for now. 🤘🤍" - paraphrased from his stepdaughter, Brittany Morrison's beautiful tribute.

ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
