Team Closterman has raised approximately $26,000 over the last eight years in support of ALS research thanks to the support of family and friends. This year, we have set a team fundraising goal of $2,000 and are optimistic that we will meet or exceed this goal.
My husband, Randy, and father to Ryan, Lindsay and Erin, lost his battle with ALS on June 13, 2018. Randy's memory lives on in our hearts and in our everyday lives, and, as he would say, "Life goes on." Our family continues to grow, and "Papa Randy" would be so pleased as our grandkids, Andrew, Addy, Maya and Greyson, grow into "little people"!
While Randy is no longer with us in body, he continues in spirit and is determined, as we all are, to win the fight against ALS. Our family and friends will participate in the Kansas City Walk to Defeat ALS in Randy's memory on Sunday, October 8, at Kauffman Stadium.
Please join Team Closterman on October 8 if you can! If you are unable, please consider donating to my walk team and help us continue the fight to create a world without ALS.
Thank you for your support!
