Thank you for helping us reach our fund raising goal! We appreciate your generosity in the battle to find treatment and a cure for those who continue to battle ALS.
It seems unbelievable that this will be the sixth year our team will gather and walk to celebrate and HONOR the memory of Carol Monti Nichols. We miss her every day but especially around St Patrick's Day (her favorite holiday) and September (her birthday) and August (her wedding anniversary) and Thanksgiving (handmade butter pats) and Christmas (HoHoHo) and Easter (deviled eggs and butter lamb).
Carol was so full of energy and she cared deeply for her husband, her family and her friends. This brought all of us to her when she needed our help. We walk for her because she has inspired us to live life fully and with laughter! We walk for her because she would want us to continue to fight for research and treatment options for others! That's how she was.
Please consider joining our team in the Walk to Defeat ALS® or choose a team member from the list and donate to our cause.

Why We Need Your Help
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.
PLEASE contribute what you can- it all counts!
