My dad, Ron Churchill, was diagnosed with ALS in November 2017.
He spent his working years on the railroad, like his father and uncles. Hence, the name, "Churchill's Train".
Prior to being diagnosed, he was a very active man, in his church, in his community and in his family. We continued to care for him as he gradually lost more function. Sadly, in April 2019, he went to walk with God.
My mom, husband and two boys will be joining me in the walk. Our goal is to raise $1500 to go towards research and assistance for those affected by ALS. We are walking to raise money to find a cure, so that someday, hearts won't have to be broken because of this disease.
Thank you to all of you for your prayers, love and support...
