Walk Details

Please join us for the 2023 Walk to Defeat ALS on Sunday, October 8th. Registration begins at 11:30am, the welcome ceremony at 12:45pm, with the Walk starting at 1pm. This event brings together those living with ALS, family, friends, and others impacted by ALS to join in the fight to find a cure for ALS.

Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the services and resources provided by the ALS Association by visiting the Care Services Area, enjoy live entertainment from "A Change of Plans", a kid zone area, and local food trucks Smashdawgz and AYZO Heavenly Brew.

2022 Walk to Defeat ALS T-Shirt

T-Shirts

Remember - only participants who've raised $90 will get a t-shirt. This benefit is awarded to individuals, not teams or donors, so make sure the donations to your personal fundraising record add up! If you have a donor who would like a shirt, we recommend asking them to register as a member of your team and make a self donation.

In addition to working toward one for yourself, you should spread the word to encourage your friends, family, and coworkers to earn their very own shirt.

Statistically speaking, someone around the world is diagnosed with ALS every 90 minutes, and every 90 minutes someone loses their battle with ALS. Recognizing the importance of "every 90 minutes," the T-shirt minimum is $90. It is our hope that this minimum will reinforce this critical statistic and help you develop a better understanding of the disease.
