Due to rising water levels on the Mississippi River, Harriet Island Regional Park is closing to the public. We were notified on Monday of this potentially happening and thankfully we were able to secure a new venue for this Saturday’s ALS SuperHero Dash event.

This Saturday’s SuperHero Dash event will be relocated to Union Depot East Plaza in St. Paul. We're so grateful to have Union Depot as the new command center for all our Superheroes this Saturday! We'll still have all of the same family-friendly festivities to keep our heroes at maximum power. A kids zone, DJ, snacks, coffee, and more will all be transported over to the Union Depot in a feat of superhuman strength.


7:30 am: Registration/Check-In Opens

8:45 am: Kids Dash Start

9:00 am: Program

9:15 am: 5K Start

10:30 am: Awards

Parking & Directions

There is ample and easy parking under and adjacent to the Union Depot East Plaza. Click here for a detailed map. To make it easy for you, we’re paying for everyone’s parking if you park in lots B, C or D as noted on the map. When pulling in you’ll receive a parking ticket, which can stay in your vehicle. When you leave the SuperHero Dash event, volunteers will provide you a parking voucher to be inserted into the machine after your parking ticket which pays for your parking. Look out for volunteers in red ALS Association shirts and safety vests to guide you.

With this venue change, we've had to cancel the 10K run due to route limitations. 10K runners will be shifted to the 5K run by default, but may elect a registration refund if they choose. The 5K route will not be officially certified as originally intended but is still chip-timed. UPDATE 5/18 10:00 am - the route has been changed to Shepard Road. We will parade down to Shepard Road from the East Plaza and run out and back. 

Packet Pick-Up

Avoid the lines on race day by picking up your shirt and race bib prior to the event. You can pickup for yourself, family, or entire Team. Packet pick-up will be held at The ALS Association office on Thursday, May 18th from 9am-6pm. 1919 University Ave, Suite 175, St Paul MN 55104.

League of Champions

Individual participants who fundraise $350 or more will receive exclusive Dash socks, race day goodies and bag check. Participants who’ve recently passed this mark this week may receive their socks post-event. Unfortunately, due to this venue change we can no longer offer VIP parking. All participants will receive parking reimbursement.


Online pre-registration will close Friday, May 19th at 6:00 am CST. Participants may still register on the day-of the race at Union Depot East Plaza, at the increased rate of $55 and a shirt cannot be guaranteed.


Friendly dogs are permitted at the event and on the route. We ask that you clean up after your dog and ensure they are always leashed. Please be considerate of runners and those with mobility devices.
