ALS IS NOT INCURABLE,

So we're calling on you to help us raise funds to find a cure.
In 2019, Zumba® and Augie's Quest® are joining forces to put a stop to ALS, a disease that affects mobility and eventually robs thousands of the ability to move and connect with their bodies. ALS isn't incurable: Augie Nieto, the founder of Augie's Quest®, has been living with ALS for 13 years. Now, he's testing a drug that could stop ALS forever - he just needs our help funding the research.
The Zumba community is unstoppable when inspired, so we're doing everything we can to make sure that those living with ALS can and WILL continue shuffling with us.
So let's do what we do best. Dance our hearts out. Empower those around us. Raise the volume and repeat.

Anthony Carbajal a son and a wedding photographer diagnosed with ALS in 2014. Anthony's mother was also diagnosed 14 years ago.
"I WANT TO BE ABLE TO PICK UP MY DAUGHTER FROM SCHOOL EVERYDAY."
Ashley Reed, a mother and wife diagnosed with ALS in 2013.
"Now, my grown young men are taking care of me. It’s not easy. But what a circle. What a life."
Nancy Sallaberry, a mother and wife that dedicated her life to playing tennis and being a happy person was diagnosed with ALS in 2015.
"I want to work in sports and I want to start a family. I still want to carry out those things."
Osiel Mendoza, a husband to Bella Mendoza, was diagnosed with ALS in 2016 at the age of 21. Despite his diagnoses, he has hope for the future.
