Hi, My name is Cathy & I'm a 2-year Breast Cancer survivor and a patient of Emory Winship!
Winship Cancer Institute holds a special place in my heart. I was diagnosed with Stage 1B Triple Negative Breast Cancer in Oct 2021. I underwent 16 rounds of chemo, double lumpectomy, 20 rounds of radiation & 5 immunotherapy infusions. I can never thank the doctors, nurses & support staff enough for all they've done & continue to do for me.
My both grandma's & dad died of cancer, so I walk for them as well. I am honored to be able to help contribute to cancer research and be a part of this amazing event. Please consider donating or walking with me or my group "Living My Best Life." This is our 2nd year, and I/we'd love to have you.
A little history--Serving more than 17,000 patients each year, Winship helps cancer patients throughout Georgia, the Southeast, and beyond by working to prevent, treat, and cure cancer. This is where science becomes hope. Your support is essential to fuel breakthrough research that leads to new and better treatments for cancer. Every step you take will help bring us one step closer to a cure. With your contribution today, we can make real progress to help save and improve the lives of those affected by cancer.
I'm so excited to be joining other teams and supporters for the Winship 5K! Will you help us make a difference with a donation of any amount?
Thank you for supporting Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
