Alumni in Finance Virtual Networking Hour (Online)

Event Description

Connect with fellow alumni who are finance professionals all over the world to share your experiences, exchange career tips, and build your professional network! It’s free, it’s only an hour, and it’s fun!

When you enter the live event, you will be able to connect with GW alumni who are financial professionals within 5 functional areas: 1) Equity Research, 2) Technology and Market Data, 3) Fixed Income, 4) Financial Services, and 5) Real Estate Finance. Each of these areas will be hosted by the alumni volunteers leading the Alumni in Finance Industry Leadership Council.

During the live event, if choose to enter the general networking booth, you will be randomly paired with fellow alumni for several 10-minute text based chats that will allow you to make a connection, exchange contact information, and build your GW network. If you choose a topic based booth, you will connect with the alumni volunteer hosting that booth who is a professional in that area. While participating in these chats, it is helpful to think through questions you would like to ask in advance and come prepared to share your perspective and responses.
