Event Description
Start the new year off on a healthy note with a GW Foodies cooking demo lead by fellow GW alumnus, Lee Wallach, GWSB BBA '08.
Chef Lee Wallach — owner of Home Appétit, a meal delivery service based in Philadelphia — will lead a demo focused on wholesome cooking. The three-dish menu can be found below, and ingredients will be shared ahead of time so participants can follow along. Those in the Philadelphia region will have the option of getting the fully prepared meal delivered right to their door (more information provided to registrants).
Lee has worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry for over 15 years. From restaurant manager to sous chef (in Napa Valley, Miami and New York City), Lee has cultivated his appreciation for delicious food, diverse flavors and varied techniques. But mostly, he believes in the importance of a quality mealtime, which is the foundation of his award-winning meal delivery service.
Home Appetit is known for working with local farmers to source top-quality local ingredients and for preparing delicious food that is healthful and wholesome without ever sacrificing flavor.
