Q: Someone gave me a $50 donation at dinner last night.  Can I add that to my online fundraising page?
A: YES!  New this year is the ability to add manual pledges to your online fundraising page so that you are able to reflect the total amount of dollars that you have raised.  Here is how you do this.
Log into your Participant Centre
On the right had side of the participant centre you will see an "Enter new gift" button.  Select this button
Simply fill in the fields including to donor's name and amount of the donation.  When this is complete select the "Add" button at the bottom of the page.
Once you hit "Add" the donor will receive an email thanking them for their gift.
The donor will not receive the donation receipt until after you have handed in that donation to our office for processing.

Q: Do I need to wear a helmet?
A: YES! All riders MUST wear a helmet.

Q: Is there a fundraising incentive for riders?
A: YES!  But the entire incentive program is being revamped for more inclusion. We want to recognize the hard work all riders put in to their fundraising efforts! This year, everyone who raises $200 or more will have a chance to win some amazing prizes including 2 Winnipeg Blue Bombers Season Passes and a special getaway at Inn at the Forks among other prizes.  The more $ you raise the more ballots you earn for the draws.  Everyone who raises $200 (personal gifts excluded as per CRA guidelines) will receive one ballot in the draw.  When you reach $500 you receive a second ballot.  You will then receive an additional ballot for every $250 that you raise.  This means that if you raise $1,500 in pledges you will receive 6 ballots in the draw. If you raise $5,000 you will receive 20 ballots.

We will also provide special recognition to the largest team and the individual who has the greatest number of donations.

Q: What percentage of the proceeds goes to RHC?
A: 100% of the proceeds raised by Cycle on Life participants goes to Riverview with one exception; a portion (50%) of the funds raised by the Winnipeg Blue Bomber Alumni team benefit Riverview Heath Centre and the other 50% is used by the WBB Alumni Association to support youth football safety programs and scholarships in Manitoba.

This year, the Riverview Health Centre Foundation's Cycle on Life initiative aims to enhance residents' living experiences by raising funds for the renovation of the main living areas in our 2 West and 2 East communities, these residents require ventilators or oxygen to maintain their health. These communal spaces serve as the heart of our residents' daily lives, resembling the central gathering areas found in traditional homes, complete with kitchens, dining areas, and lounges.

By upgrading these spaces, we aim to enhance the quality of life for all residents significantly. A more inviting and home like atmosphere will encourage residents to socialize, relax, and easy access to the outdoors. The improved layout will facilitate better navigation and create a more comfortable, accessible environment for residents and visitors.
