What is the Plunge?

• The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations, and anyone to support persons with intellectual disabilities by running, walking or dancing into the chilly waters at Big Bear Lake.
• A few hundred people weather the cold and plunge into freezin' waters on April 22 to support Special Olympics Inland Empire.
• All participants enjoy the festivities (either by taking the plunge or watching from the "Chicken Coop").
• Particpants raise more than $50, and you will have the opportunity to earn other cool and fun prizes!
