Event Day Information

WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON MY EVENT DAY?

  • Arrive 30 mins – 1 hour before your selected Climb Time to Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building, Hall A, 255 Front Street West. This ensures you have enough time to pick-up your wristband (if you haven’t already done so at our Advance Check In), drop your belongings at the complimentary coat & bag check, and enjoy the pre-climb activities. If you did not pick up your wristband at Advanced Check In, go to the registration area in the main, ground floor lobby to check in and receive your wristband.
  •
  • Leave coats and other personal items with the provided coat-check in Hall A.
  •
  • Enter the Climb queue in Hall A to get your hand stamped before heading to the CN Tower.
  •
  • At the base of the Tower, you will go through CN Tower’s mandatory security check. To ensure you are granted access for your climb, make sure you are hands-free and are not wearing or carrying any of the items that are not permitted during the climb. If you are in violation of the hands-free policy or are found with restricted items, CN Tower security observes the right to refuse entry and you will be asked to return to Hall A to leave restricted items at the coat check area. The climb takes an average 30 minutes – 1 hour, once you leave Hall A.
  •
  • Keep to the right while in the stairwell, to allow faster climbers to pass.
  •
  • The top of the CN Tower can get very busy and warm during the climb. In the interest of public safety, please make your way back to ground level via the elevators (located on the glass floor level of the CN Tower) as soon as possible.
  •
  • Return to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building, Hall A to receive your climb time, your official 2024 ClimbUP T-shirt, and to enjoy our on-site activities.
