Walk Start Time: 10:00 a.m. (Registration starts at 9:15 a.m.)

9:15 a.m.: Registration & prize pick-up begins!

11:00 a.m. Doggie Costume Contest

Strut your stuff on our "catwalk" to compete for best costume voted on by the audience! The 50/50 winner will be drawn at the end of the costume contest.

Event Rules:

All participating dogs must be currently licensed with proof of their Rabies (if over 4 months of age), Distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines.  Please check your records because even if you adopted from us, you may not have all the vaccinations required.  If an incident occurs, you must be able to produce proof in a reasonable amount of time.

For safety reasons, retractable leashes or electric collars will NOT be allowed.  Dogs must be kept on a leash at ALL times, with no exceptions. Leashes should be no more than six feet in length while on the walk.

Female dogs in heat are not permitted.

Participants are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs during the entire event.

Event officials and WHS staff reserve the right to refuse entry to any dog whose behavior could be dangerous to others.  Please use good judgment regarding the temperament of your dog so that this event will be safe and enjoyable for everyone.

No bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, etc. are permitted for safety reasons.

Baby strollers are permitted. Be sure that you and your dog are conditioned and in proper health for this event.
