The Kansas City Walk to Defeat ALS is being held at Aspiria Campus (formerly Sprint Campus) 6301 Sprint Parkway on Saturday, September 18, 2024. Brian fought a courageous battle with ALS and passed 5 years ago on July 1st. He will always be in our hearts.
Brian has been greatly missed. He was so humble and caring, a model of gentleness with a little bit of orneriness built in. He loved his wife, daughters, grandchildren, other family members and his many friends, all who played a huge helping hand to Pam and him over the past year.
Given the support received from ALS during his time, Brian wanted to continue with the walk to help fund research to find a cure for this awful disease. The family also believes that increased funding and support is needed to help the individual and family as the disease reaches its final stages.
This year, for the walk, wear the Rowdy Runde (Walk t-shirt) or a Hawaiian shirt.
Let us know, if you will be joining us.
Donations to ALS are always welcome.
Please continue to keep Brian’s family and all others who suffer from ALS in your prayers.
Sincerely,
Rob Harris and Pam Runde
