Volunteer Job Descriptions

Set up crew Early morning arrival to park to assist with all set up needs including canopies, signage, decorations, etc.	Water Station Assist Walk participants with water and snacks and communicate supply needs with Logistics Chair.	Greeters Welcome all Walk participants and Teams and direct people to Registration/Check-in	Registration/ T-Shirts Assist with registration, check-in of Walk teams and participants, collect donation envelopes and distribute T-shirts. Specific procedures will be provided.
Accounting Tallies Walk donations on an Excel spreadsheet; provides security of monies during the Walk. Specific procedures will be provided.	Traffic Duty Provides direction to Walk participants and Teams on Walk route and parking lots	Advocacy Works at the Chapter information table. Advocates for research and government awareness for ALS. Knowledge of or connection to ALS a big plus!	Clean-Up Ensure the park is clean and green with all supplies and garbage collected. Recycling, too!
Photographer(s) Team photos, plus candids of exciting crowd shots, close-ups, smiling faces!	Videographer(s) With working knowledge of youtube-type videos.	Entertainment Balloon artists, clowns, street musicians, jugglers, cheerleaders, etc!	Sound system/DJ Looking for folks with AV skills, ability to cue music, etc
