Greater Tampa Bay Walk
Thank you for attending our 2024 event and being a part of the movement to raise awareness and funds all while coming together with our ALS community!
Although the 2024 Walk is over, ALS doesn't stop and neither can we! Let's keep up the momentum and raise additional dollars towards our $195,000 event goal and your team and personal goals. We are currently at 66% towards our goal! Let's bridge the gap together and raise event more Awareness for our local ALS community!
- Donate to your Personal Page and ask your friends to match it.
- Create a Facebook Fundraiser through your personal Walk page.
- Share your Walk Day photos and WHY you participate in Walk to Defeat ALS on social media. *Remember to include your personal fundraising page link!
- Get creative! Create a fundraiser with your company, a local restaurant, or local businesses. (i.e. Nothing Bundt Cakes, restaurant give back, car washes, etc.)
- Hold your own ice bucket challenge/fundraiser! With the temperature rising and 2024 being the 10 year anniversary of the ice bucket challenge, May is a great month to host your own ice bucket fundraiser or see if your employer would be willing to host one!

- Teams raising $4,000+ by August 15th, 2024 will receive a route sign at the 2025 Walk to Defeat ALS Greater Tampa Bay
- Teams raising $5,000+ by August 15th, 2024 will also receive a reserved team area at the 2025 Walk to Defeat ALS Tampa Bay *Hot Commodity!*
- Teams raising $7,000+ by August 15th, 2024 will receive a reserved team area and a team banner at the 2025 Walk to Defeat ALS Tampa Bay
- Walk to Defeat ALS Greater Tampa Bay Celebration in Tuesday, August 20th at 6:30pm at Shuffle - Seminole Heights. We will recognize our top fundraising teams and top fundraising individuals and throw in some fun superlatives!

T-Shirts
Participants who've raised $100 will get a t-shirt on Walk Day. This benefit is awarded to individuals, not teams or donors, so make sure the donations to your personal fundraising record add up!
In addition to working toward one for yourself, you should spread the word to encourage your friends, family, and coworkers to earn their very own shirt.
