Faith Volunteers

Habitat for Humanity is an interfaith Christian ministry. As a result, we rely heavily on faith groups to help achieve our mission of providing affordable housing for more families in Chicagoland and beyond. Habitat builds and repairs homes with, and for, people of all races, faiths and backgrounds. People of all beliefs are welcome to join us in our common goal of affordable homeownership.

Faith groups help us in so many ways on a build site and at a ReStore. It’s a great way to serve. Members of congregations and faith communities with needed skills can also participate on the boards or subcommittees of Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity and the Chicagoland affiliates.
