Volunteers drive the success of Habitat for Humanity affiliates across Chicagoland and every hand makes a difference. Volunteers build homes, serve on various Board committees, assist at the job sites, work with dedicated employees at a ReStore, fundraise through various means and donate supplies and money.

We love volunteer groups! Pull together your friends, your family, your coworkers and have fun making a difference. Volunteer groups help Habitat build homes, do A Brush with Kindness repair projects and work in a Habitat ReStore. You choose how many days to commit. Many group volunteer opportunities require sponsorship funds to support the cost of building a home.
AmeriCorps VISTA members leverage human, financial and material resources to build long-term solutions to poverty. They make a needed impact in one of six roles: resource development, ReStore development, volunteer development, family services development, construction systems or project development.
