The 2020 Richstone Walk

What:


The Richstone Walk is where locals unite to support and raise funds for the Richstone Family Center, one of the most progressive centers for the treatment and prevention of child abuse in Los Angeles.  In its 33rd year, the Richstone Walk is Richstone’s largest annual community event to raise awareness and funds for child abuse treatment and prevention.

Where:


Kicking off from the Manhattan Beach Pier, we’ll walk the Strand to the Hermosa Beach Pier and back  --  an easy 3.4 miles.

Time:

  • Festivities Start  7:00 AM
  • Walk Starts   8:00 AM*

 

Why We Walk for Richstone:

Because…A report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds
Because…Child abuse occurs at every socioeconomic and education level

Because… Richstone supports the most vulnerable children and families in the South Bay and South LA
Because…You can make a difference by raising funds to end the cycle of child abuse and domestic violence

 

Who Should Join Us:

Everyone!! Participate individually or as a team with your families, kids, friends, co-workers, sports teams, community organizations, alumni groups, book clubs and more!  The route is stroller and pet friendly, so start your day with friends and family enjoying beautiful ocean views and making a positive impact within our community. 

Fees:    

              Registration: $30, includes commemorative baseball cap**

              Registration on Walk Day:  $35

              Free for kids 3 and under, must register and sign waiver.
