Different Ways to Give

Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County is a non-profit organization. We build houses alongside and purchased by families that do not qualify for conventional financing. To do this we depend on donations of money, building materials, and labor. If you or your organization, church, business or financial organization would like to contribute to Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County please do so by mailing your donation to our office at 907 Front Street, McHenry, IL 60050 or call and leave a message at (815) 759-9002, someone will then contact you. Materials & Supplies Donations – If your company would like to donate a large quantity of building materials, furniture, office supplies, and/or appliances to Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County, please see out list of acceptable donation and our ReStore drop off and pickup schedules here.

Car Donations –Donate a car, truck, boat, RV, or other vehicle to Habitat’s Cars For Homes vehicle programs, the money is used to build more homes in your community.To donate your vehicle, call (815) 759-9002 or visit www.carsforhomes.org. Be sure to specify that you want the donation to go to Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County. The value of your vehicle, less the auction expenses, will be donated to our affiliate.
