Pursuing An Internship
We offer Business Communications internship opportunities to college/university, trade school or graduate school students. Internships are offered on a semester basis and interested candidates must be 18 years or older to apply for any internships.
Our internships will allow students to volunteer in a range of capacities in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, and Video Technology. Students will work with our staff members, homeowners, and the ReStore Aurora Team to create marketing material such as:
- Advertisements
- Photography& Video
- Conduct Interviews
- Google Technology
- Social Media
- Develop & Execute a Fundraising Event
Our internships are excellent opportunities for students to gain practical real-world work experience and learn new skills while completing a degree. Students are also able to use internships for course-work credit with the approval of their institution. It is the intern's responsibility to coordinate communication between their academic institution and Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity Internship Program Coordinator, Barb Zegiel.
