Corporations, Small Businesses, Faith Organizations, Community Groups, Universities, Trade SchoolsThank you for your interest in team volunteering and sponsorship opportunities. Many organizations recognize the benefits of taking employees outside the walls of the office, and into the volunteer space for team building days. Team-building days can increase personal confidence and also confidence in their colleague's abilities. An increase in confidence will give your workforce the inner courage to express new ideas and depend on others within the group to be able to complete tasks that are necessary to make a company successful. A partnership with Habitat for Humanity can give your organization a way to enunciate your social responsibility strategy clearly and concisely – helping build a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Create a meaningful relationship with the impact, history and brand value of Habitat for Humanity and make yourself stand out with your consumers, vendors, employees, peers or business partners. Research has shown that employees prefer to work for companies invested in charitable causes in the communities in which the work and live and volunteering is a terrific way to facilitate that need at a relatively low cost to your company and an investment in the community. This is an excellent way to promote your organization’s social responsibility goals to the public. Whether this is your first volunteer event, or if you are seasoned pros, Fox Valley Habitat provides a fun, easy and engaging experience for all involved. We’re in the business of building safe, affordable housing, for hard-working, lower-income families. We would be honored to work side-by-side with your team on the construction site or at our ReStore. Team-Building Days can be reserved Tuesday through Saturday throughout the year. The work day typically starts at 8:00am and runs no later than 3:00pm. For more information on team work days, and which sponsorship level to choose, please contact Barbara Zegiel, Development Coordinator, b.zegiel@foxvalleyhabitat.org or 630-206-5038. Sponsorship Commitment Levels
All teams are required to sponsor their work day. This financial contribution helps to offset the cost of construction materials needed to accommodate your group on a build site, or any supplies needed at the ReStore for volunteers. We appreciate having the contribution sent in to our office two weeks prior to your work day. If your team chooses to fundraise to fulfill the sponsorship requirement, Fox Valley Habitat can provide an easy-to-use, customized peer-to-peer website to help with your fundraising efforts. We will supply the tools, materials, safety gear, and the instruction to make your day productive, enjoyable, and safe- your team can supply the enthusiasm! Team-Building Videos |
